Born in September 1964, Zhen Zhanmin (male and of the Han ethnic group) holds a master’s degree in economics and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He now serves as vice president of CASS, member of the leading Party members’ group of CASS, and deputy to the 19th CPC National Congress.

He mainly engages in research of theories related to the CPC.
