Dai Yuanchen, male, Han nationality, born in July, 1926, is a native of Haining, Zhejiang Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. In 1946, he graduated from the department of politics at the Jiangsu Provincial Institute as a graduate student. He is a researcher and PhD student advisor at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is also the director of the Center for Private Economic Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and honorary director of the Chinese Tax Institute. His academic expertise is economics and macro-economics. Since 1991, he has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council.
