Ge Ji, female, Han nationality, born in March, 1929, is a native of Pinghu, Zhejiang Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. In 1952, she graduated from the department of foreign languages at Ginling College as a bachelor of arts. She is a researcher with the Institute of West Asia Africa Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Vice-President of the Asian African Society of China and Chinese People’s Friendly Association to African. Her academic expertise is African studies. Since 1992 she has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council.
