Xu Kui, male, Han nationality, born in March, 1927, is a native of Shanghai and a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the department of law at Peking Chaoyang College as a graduate in June, 1948. He is a researcher with the Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic expertise is studying the problems of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
