Zhao Renwei, male, Han nationality, born in March, 1933, is a native of Jinhua, Zhejiang Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the department of Economics, Peking University, as a graduate in 1957. He is a researcher and PhD student advisor with the Institute of Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is also vice-president of the Chinese Comparative Economics Research Society. His academic specialties are economic restructuring and income distribution. Since 1992, he has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council.
