Hu Qingjun, male, Han nationality, born in December, 1918, is a native of Ningxiang, Hunan Province and a member of the Communist Party of China and a member of the Chinese Democratic League. In 1944, he graduated from Peking University Institute of Arts as a postgraduate. He is a researcher with the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic expertise is ethnology and sociology. Since 1991 he has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council.
