Pang Pu, male, Han nationality, born in October, 1928, is a native of Huaiyin, Jiangsu Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Renmin University as a postgraduate. He is a researcher and PhD student advisor for Social Sciences in China Press. He is also a specially invited professor at Shandong University, director of the Confucianism Research Centre of Shandong University, specially invited consultant to the Academy of Sinology, Renmin University. His academic specialties are Chinese ancient intellectual history and cultural history.
