Chen Yuemin, male, Han nationality, born in January, 1930, is a native of Beijing and a member of the Communist Party of China. In July, 1953, he graduated from the department of languages and literature at Peking University as a graduate student. He is a researcher at the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic expertise is international politics and European civilization. In 1991, he won the “Young and Mid-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions” Award.
