Li Daokui, male, Han nationality, born in January, 1919, is a native of Xinyang, Henan Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. In June, 1949, he graduated from the department of politics at the University of Minnesota as a postgraduate student. He is a researcher with the Institute of American Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic expertise is American politics. Since 1992, he has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council.
