Li Buyun, male, Han nationality, born in August, 1933, is a native of Loudi, Hunan Province and a member of the Communist Party of China. In 1952, he graduated from the department of law at Peking University as a postgraduate. He is a researcher with the Institute of Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Director of the public research center, PhD student advisor, consultant to the Jurisprudence Research Association of the China Law Society and Institute of Comparative Law, President of the China Behavior Law Association. His academic expertise is jurisprudence, the constitution and human rights law. Since 1992 he has enjoyed a special allowance awarded by the State Council. He is a member of the expert consultant committee of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China.
