The 10th Chinese Social Sciences Frontier Forum held in Suzhou

Jointly held by Social Sciences in China Press and Soochou University, the 10th Chinese Social Sciences Frontier Forum was convened in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, on Nov. 5.
Zhang Jiang, vice-president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and editor-in-chief of Social Sciences in China Press (SSCP), presented the keynote report drafted by CASS President Wang Weiguang. Xiong Sidong, president of Soochou University, delivered a welcome address. Wang Limin, executive deputy editor-in-chief of SSCP, chaired the opening ceremony and made an opening speech.
The forum focused on major theoretical and practical problems, highlighting Xi’s thought of governing the nation. Nearly 100 scholars from more than 10 universities and research institutions, including CASS, Soochow University, Zhejiang University, Hunan Academy of Social Sciences and the Guangdong Social Sciences Association, attended the conference.
Under the leadership of the SSCP, the Chinese Social Sciences Frontier Forum has become an important academic brand and transmission platform for boosting and guiding the development and innovation of philosophy and social sciences.
