A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Beijing on the 22nd of March. Both sides held talks ahead of the signature.

CASS President Wang Weiguang, Vice President Li Yang and OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría attended the signing ceremony of the MOU and delivered speeches.

Both sides’ cooperation will focus on many substantial areas including global macroeconomic policy and economic outlook, fiscal taxation policy, competitive power, industrial upgrading and economic transition, social cohesion and inclusive growth, sustainable development and global governance.
