This report has studied 40 cities around the world and evaluated their capability in terms of world city 2.0. It has been revealed that the once narrow gap between developed cities and developing cities has widened. However, there are opportunities for the developing cities when they are on the right track of upgrading. China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone is a case showing their determination.
