Born in December 1965, Zhao Zhimin (male and of the Han ethnic group) is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with a Ph.D. degree in law. He now serves as secretary general of CASS and a member of the leading Party members’ group at CASS.

Zhao mainly engages in research of theories and policies related to the CPC as well as international studies.
