Born in December 1964, Peng Jinhui (male and of the Yi ethnic group) is a member of the Communist Party of China with a doctorate degree in Engineering. He now serves as vice president of CASS (minister level) and deputy secretary of the leading Party members’ group at CASS. Concurrently he is a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress, and vice chairman of the Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress.
