Born in September 1970, Li Xuesong (male and of the Han ethnic group) is a research fellow and doctoral supervisor with a PhD in economics. As a member of the Communist Party of China, he now serves as vice president of CASS and a member of the leading Party members’ group at CASS. Concurrently he is a deputy to the 14th National People’s Congress.

Li mainly engages in research of issues regarding the Chinese economy.
